'This is the time and we are the ones'

Not having a good day today. I can't survive without sleep and I've not had too much of that lately. So yea, my boring moany side comes out. I often get that voice inside my head (that sounds strangely like my mother's) telling me how lucky I am and how grateful I should feel, but when I'm tired and stressed I don't feel grateful at all. I learned a long time ago that it's ok to feel like this and it will pass, but sometimes I need a little help. So a chat to family and friends is good and a bit of banter helps. But I am always reminded of a special lady who helped me through so much. She had the same name as my mam but that's where the similarities ended. On one of our first meetings she gave me an excerpt from a very interesting book she was reading. I thought I would share it.

and whatever you're making of it

"Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance." One Day at A Time

Introduction

This is my first ever foray into blog writing. I feel like I have lots of information floating around my head and that it would be good to put it out there so to speak.
